Day 1 Paris

Bien Venue! Welcome to the glamour capital of the world – Paris, known for fashion houses, art museums, elegant avenues, beautiful monuments and exciting cabarets. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel on your own .In the evening, you can opt to see the Moulin Rouge Show – The Moulin Rouge is the number one show in Paris, if not the whole of Europe. No wonder it sells out quickly! Don’t miss your chance to see the world-renowned showgirls and French Cancan dancers strut their stuff on the Moulin Rouge’s historic stage. Overnight in Paris.

Day 2 Paris

After breakfast, enjoy views of Paris from the Montparnasse Tower, built in 1973, was one of the first tall skyscrapers in Paris. A visit to the tower’s observation deck is rewarded with a magnificent view over the city. Overnight in Paris. (B)

Day 3 Paris – Strasbourg (6 hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Paris CDG airport and collect your car rented car. Later on drive to UNESCO World Heritage site since 1998, “Grande Ile”, the historic centre of Strasbourg, is rich with two thousand years of history and represents a remarkable architectural ensemble, of which the cathedral is the masterpiece. In addition to this treasure, the city is brimming with wonders just waiting to be discovered; La Petite France, one of the most picturesque quarters, long ago the stronghold of tanners, fishermen and millers; nine superb museums and the imperial German quarter. Strasbourg is also a European capital, the seat of major European institutions such as the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. The diversity of its architecture and its warm and cheerful atmosphere will make you want to stroll through it and discover all its riches. On foot, in a tour boat, mini-tram or on a bike!

Later you can enjoy an evening in a cosy and chic wine bar ideally located in the heart of Strasbourg. The tasting sessions, with a lively commentary given by Christophe, the expert sommelier with a passion for wine, will lead you on an informative discovery through the grape varieties of our region as well as the people, the soil and the climate which give each wine its particular character. Day 4 Strasbourg – Colmar  ( approx 1 hr  )

At the foot of the wooded slopes of the Vosges, overlooked by mysterious chateaux, Alsace’s wine producing villages with their outer walls, their friendly inns with ancient historical signs and their inimitable houses grouped around the church spire never fail to seduce those taking the time to stop off here. The Alsace wine route snakes its way through the region from the north to the south across the vineyard covered hills, for more than 170 km. Along the way, wine trails, winstubs and friendly wine merchants (where you can taste some of the region’s treasures) invite you to discover the seven grape varieties, embodying the taste and fragrances of the land which gave birth to them. Hiking or cycling here also offers a wonderful opportunity to soak up the region’s history, traditions or mysteries. Then, visit the Castle Haut Koenigsbourg, Alscace which is Europe’s richest region in terms of concentration of feudal castles, which bear witness to its tumultuous history. Indeed, Alsace has over 400 castle  ruins. Haut Koenigsbourg Castle, one of the most frequently visited in France, is undoubtedly the most famous of all. It is located at Orschwiller in the Vosges mountains just west of Sélestat.  Another exciting attraction is the visit to the Cité de l’Automobile – National Museum – Schlumpf Collection. This museum offers a display of over 400 dream cars that form one of the finest collection in the world, going from the forerunners to the exceptional sports car and the most prestigious ones…Panhard, Peugeot, Benz, and a whole range of Bugatti, amongst them the most expensive cars in the world!Later proceed to Colmar. Day 5 Colmar – Freiburg  ( 2 hrs )             

Post breakfast today, adventure awaits you as you visit the Europa Park in Rust. In the 13 European themed areas you will find more than 100 attractions and fantastic shows to enjoy the multicultural feeling with friends or family. Ten spectacular roller coasters will exceed your wildest expectations and let you forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. Overnight in Freiburg. (B)

Day 6 Freiburg         

The day is free to explore Freiburg as you please. Enjoy a drive through the historic town. Spend some time at the innumerable cafes or you can experience wine tasting at Alte Wache-House of Baden wines (on own). Overnight in Freiburg. (B

Day 7 Freiburg – Titisee (45mins)

Today, drive to the heart of Blackforest. A  boat trip at the 1,6 km2 huge lake surrounded by the forested mountains is a must-do as well as choosing a few souvenirs on offer at the local Black Forest shops. Furthermore do not forget to taste the delicious Black Forest Cake, a creamy chocolate cake filled with cherries and decorated with whipped cream. Overnight in Titisee. (B)

Day 8 Titisee – Zurich (1.5 hrs) 

After breakfast, drive to Zurich. Later, discover the sights of Zurich aboard the unique ‘Classic Trolley’. Drive through this beautiful city and see the business and financial centre, Bahnhofstrasse, the most important museums, a section of the Old Town, Fraumunster Church with its famous Chagall windows, historical Limmatquai, the University district, residential areas, beautiful hillside villas on the Zurichberg, as well as recreation areas and views of the Alps from Zurich’s vantage points. Overnight in Zurich. (B)

Day 9 Depart Zurich

Today proceed to the airport, drop off your car and board your flight back home.

One-Way Rentals
One way rental are available at most car rental company’s locations. Please check with the location for rates, terms and availability.
One-Way Rentals ( France)
Switzerland-National** One-Way Rentals within locations in Switzerland are free of charge except from special cars. For convertibles and 4×4 vehicles a oneway charge of CHF 250 applies. France-National** For One-Way-Rentals within locations in France (except within the same city and between the airports Paris Orly and Roissy CDG) a charge of EUR 75.- applies.
Age Requirements
Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 20 years old and the driver has to be in possesion of a valid driver’s license for at least 1 year. Minimum age requirements also vary based on rental vehicle and country of rental. In Great Britian, maximum rental age is 75.
Deposits
A deposit of up to three times the hire price is charged to the chosen means of payment as a security. The deposit for high-value vehicles may differ. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.
Extras
The following items may be added to the rental at the counter at an additional rate per item per day : Baby Seat, Child Seat, Booster Seat, Snow Chains, Ski Racks, and Navigation System.
Additional Driver
Additional drivers may be added to the rental for an extra per day charge.
Refueling Charge
Cars must be returned with the same amount of fuel as supplied at the beginning of the rental, otherwise refueling charges may apply.
Under Age Surcharge
A young age surcharge will be charged for any acceptable rental in which the minimum age requirement has not been satisfied.
Taxes, surcharges, fees
Taxes, Fees and Insurance are paid by the customer at the time of receiving the vehicle unless included in the program purchased.
Premium location fee (France)
A Premium location fee of EUR 38.00 occurs for rentals at airport and train stations per month. (Premium Location Surcharge = Y)
Baby Seat, Child Seat & Booster Seat (France)
Baby Seat – (0-13 kg/Group 0) 10.00 Euro per day, 35.00 Euro/Month —– Child Seat – (0-10 kg,9-18kg/Group 0/1) 10.00 Euro per day, 35.00 Euro/Month —– Booster Seat – (15-36 kg/Group 2/3) 10.00 Euro per day, 35.00 Euro/Month.
Age Restrictions (France)

Snow Chains (France)

Delivery & Collection (France)
During Opening Hours —– Delivery/Collection Service is on request. Please contact the local rental station. For up to 5 km, a charge of EUR 25.00 applies. For more than 5 km up to 10 km, a charge of EUR 50.00 applies. For each further kilometre, EUR 2.50 is charged.
Voucher
The prepaid voucher must be presented by the customer on the spot for all prepaid reservations.
Glass and Tire Coverage (France)
Tire and Glass Coverage provides cover against the consequences of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows, backwindow and mirror glass. The cost of GT is as follows: EUR 5,00 per day; EUR 100,00 per month If GT is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and backwindow. If GT is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: EUR 0.-. (Tire and Glass Coverage = GT)
Out of Hours (France)
Out of hour service ist available at selected stations. A charge of max. EUR 50.00 applies. (Out Of Hours = OH)
Additional Driver (France)
An Additional Driver Surcharge of EUR 25.00 per month started applies. (Additional Driver = AD)

General Insurance Coverage – France
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with unlimited cover for personal injuries, a maximum cover of EUR 100 Mill for material damages and a maximum cover of EUR 1.6 Mill for damages of the environment. Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver’s licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim. (Third Party Liability = TI)

Road fund licence (France)
A road fund licence of EUR 3.10 per day, max. EUR 15.50 per month occurs. (Road fund licence = U)

General Rental Information (France)
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving licence. Driving licences from non-EU countries (except Switzerland) are accepted if: a) no visa has been entered in the passport. b) the customer has a visa in his passport and at the time of hire has not been in Europe for longer than 6 months. If he has been in Europe for longer than 6 months, he must present a driving licence from an EU country. Please show a valid ID card or passport at time of pick up!
