Day 1 Arrive Moscow

On arrival in Moscow, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The present day capital of Russia is one of the world’s most remarkable cities, home to world-class museums and galleries and striking architecture. Overnight in Moscow

Day 2 Moscow – Kazan

Today after breakfast proceed for city tour of Moscow. Visit to the Moscow Kremlin which is a symbol of the Russian State, one of the greatest architectural complexes in the world, a treasure house of magnificent relics and monuments of art. Walk along the Street of Arbat through the souvenir shops, plentiful cafes and eateries . Later visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Overnight in train (B, L, D)         

Day 3 Kazan – Yekaterinburg

Enjoy breakfast on board. Arrive at Kazan Railway Station and proceed for the city tour of Old Kazan-  The Tartar capital is situated on the picturesque banks of the Volga. Later, join the folklore program “Tugan Avalim” to enjoy Tartar epic. Further proceed to Kremlin, a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow. Board the train to depart Kazan and enjoy dinner on board. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 4 YekaterinburgNovosibirsk

Enjoy breakfast on board. Arrive at Yekaterinburg Railway Station. Enjoy the city tour of Yekaterinburg. As a part of city tour see the Church on Blood erected to commemorate a tragic historical event, the orthodox monastery with temples that are considered to be pearls of Russian construction. You will visit the memorial built at the boundary of two continents (the Europe and Asia). Board the train to depart Ekaterinburg and enjoy dinner on board. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 5 Novosibirsk

Enjoy breakfast on board. Arrive at Novosibirsk, the region with great history and unique Siberian architectural monuments and nature. Enjoy the city tour exploring Railway Museum, Ballet and Opera House, ancient streets and Ob River esplanade. Board the train to depart Novosibirsk and enjoy dinner on board. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 6 On board – Irkutsk

Today spend your day on board on Imperial Russia train. Enjoy various activities on board. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 7 Irkutsk – Baikal

Enjoy breakfast on board. Arrive at Irkutsk railway station. Join the tour to the historical city center including a visit to the Decembrist House, the “wooden lace” house, also called the “House of Europe”, the most beautiful and amazing streets of the city – Bolshaya Prospektnaya, today – Karl Marx Street. Visit to the Ethnographical Museum Taltsy which is located in a picturesque place on the right bank of the Angara River. Enjoy some free time at the “130 quarter” – “Irkutskaya Sloboda”, a quarter with reconstructed city buildings of the 19-20 century. Treat your taste buds in Irkutsk for dinner. Later board the train to depart Irkutsk. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 8 Baikal – Ulan-Ude

Enjoy breakfast on board. Later arrive at port Baikal and take a boat to Listvyanka for the tour. Get to Chersky Stone Observation Point with beautiful view on the southern part of the lake and the source of the Angara River is one of the most favourite places for tourists and photographers. Visit to Baikal Museum which displays the flora and fauna of the lake. Enjoy exploring Listvyanka with its sightseeing and also visit the local fish and souvenir market. Return to Port Baikal to enjoy dinner in a unique picnic style on the shore of the lake. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 9 Ulan-Ude – Ulaanbaatar

Enjoy breakfast on board and arrive at Ulan-Ude. Ethnic and cultural diversity of this area offers a unique understanding of its heritage of the world’s religions. Visit few churches like Ivolginsky  Datsan, Odigitria Cathedral and Holy Trinity Church. You will be welcomed in a Buryat family where you will enjoy reception in a traditional Buryat Yurt and a folklore program. Hospitable Buryats will teach you how to cook the traditional Buryat dish pozy, how to play dice, use a bow, wear a traditional Buryat costume, assemble and disassemble a felt yurt. This unique city, a convenient location in both strategic and economics ways on the cross-roads of Russia with China and Mongolia has lot offer for sightseeing. Depart Ulan-Ude and to board the train. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 10 Ulaanbaatar

Today, you will arrive at Ulanbataar the capital of Mangolia. Visit the main square and Zaisan, the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar that honors Soviet soldiers killed in World War II. Further, proceed to Terelj National Park to reach the camping area. Upon arrival to the camp some time will be given to settle yurt and freshen up prior to lunch. After lunch, take an excursion to the Turtle Rock and enjoy beautiful scenery of the surrounding area. Take the hiking tour to the top of overlooking hill to have a general view of the Terelj National Park. You will also get a chance to visit a nomadic family and get introduced to the authentic lifestyle and culture of Mongolian nomads and try traditional dairy food. Post dinner, soothe your eyes with the sunset in the wide steppe and observe night stars. Overnight in Camp (B, L, D)

Day 11 Ulaanbaatar –Erlian

Today,enjoy your breakfast amidst the nature at the camp, later you will be transferred to the Ulan Bataar. Visit Gandan monastery Tibetan-style Buddhist monastery whose Tibetan name translates to the “Great Place of Complete Joy” and the Museum of National History and Bogd Khaan Winter Palace, now a museum where Mongolia’s eighth Living Buddha, and last king, Jebtzun Damba Hutagt VIII (often called the Bogd Khan) lived for 20 years. Get immersed into the Mongolian tradition with lunch in Mongolian barbeque style and Folk show later. Depart Ulan Bataar and enjoy diner on board. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 12 Erlian – Beijing

After breakfast on board, you will arrive at Erlian. From Erlian change the train for your onward journey to Beijing. Overnight in train (B, L, D)

Day 13 Beijing

Enjoy breakfast on board. You will arrive at Beijing this morning. Later, visit Tiananmen Square – this area can fit about a million people, this is the world’s largest urban area, where the national Museum of China, the House of People’s Meetings, the majestic monument to the National Heroes sit. Visit the famous Forbidden City which was the imperial palace for twenty-four Emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. As the name suggests it was forbidden to enter without special permission of the Emperor. After scrumptious lunch check into the hotel. Rest of your day is free at leisure. Overnight in Beijing (B, L, D)

Day 14 Beijing

Today after breakfast visit the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall was built to prevent invasion and protect Silk Road trade. In the Qin Dynasty, the First Emperor of Qin inked the northern walls to prevent invasion from northern nations. In the Han Dynasty, the emperors extended the Great Wall far into today’s western China to protect Silk Road trade.

Visit the Summer Palace that is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it covers an expanse of 2.9 sq. km, three-quarters of which is water. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value. Overnight in Beijing (B, L, D)

Day 15 Depart Beijing

Today after breakfast, you will be transferred from hotel to airport for your flight back home. (B)
