Day 1 Arrive Tokyo

Upon arrival at Narita International airport, our representative will meet you at the customs exit and help you to board the Limousine Bus for your transfer to the city. Tokyo, the capital of Japan is a bustling metropolis. Later in the day, you can enjoy a traditional Sumo Wrestling Tour. (optional) Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 2 Tokyo

After breakfast, proceed to Hamamatsu Cho Bus Terminal for the city tour. Visit Tokyo Tower and climb up to the main observatory for a panoramic view. Make a short stop at Imperial Palace Plaza, the official residence of the Emperor of Japan. Visit the Asakusa Kannon Temple – the oldest and most popular Buddhist temple in Tokyo. Visit Nakamise Shopping Street, famous for some local souveniers and food shops. Drive by Akhabara – Tokyo’s electronics store district before being dropped off at Tokyo station. Overnight in Tokyo. Day 3 Tokyo

After breakfast, proceed to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal for the Kamakura tour. Visit the Great Buddha and Kotoku-in Temple and view the 13.35 m (44 ft) tall, 121 ton statue of Buddha. Tour the historical Hasedera temple reflecting the beauty of the seasons. Visit one of Kamakura’s most ancient and significant shrines – Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Enjoy lunch at Japan’s grand scale Chinese district, Yokohama Chinatown. Stroll through a massive 43 acre Sankei-en Garden. Drive across Yokohama Bay Bridge to get back to Tokyo. Overnight in Tokyo. Day 4 Tokyo – Hakone

After breakfast, proceed to Hamamatsu Cho Bus Terminal for the visit to Mt. Fuji, at 12,388 feet is Japan’s highest mountain. On arrival, visit the Fuji Visitor Center where you can see cultural art dedicated to the Fujisan on display. Driving up to Fujisan’s 5th station at 7607 feet (2305 meters) you will be inspired by the beauty of the Japanese landscape. After lunch, enjoy the crisp mountain air while cruising on Lake Ashi and ride the aerial cableway at Mount Komagatake for sweeping views of the celebrated Hakone National Park. Overnight in Hakone (B, L)

Day 5 Hakone – Kyoto

Today proceed to Odawara Station to take the Bullet train to Kyoto. Post lunch, visit the Great Buddha (Todai-ji Temple) and see the 13.35 m (44 ft) tall, 121 ton statue of Buddha. Also visit the Kasuga Taisha shrine and Nara Park to see the deer who are considered messengers of the Shrine. Splurge at Nara’s biggest souvenir shop – Nara Nagomikan, which sells a vast variety of food products, sweets, and goods exclusive to Nara. Overnight in Kyoto. (B, L)

Day 6 Kyoto

Today, visit the Golden Pavilion with two floors covered entirely in thin layers of pure gold and detailed architecture incorporating three distinct styles Shinden, Samurai, and Zen. Browse the world’s longest wooden structure, housing 1,001 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities, dating back to the 13th century at Sanjusangen-do Temple. See the city of Kyoto from the hilltop of the world heritage site of the Kiyomizu-dera Temple Overnight in Kyoto (B, L).

Day 7 Kyoto

Today, proceed to the train station to take the Bullet train to Hiroshima. When the first atomic bomb was dropped over Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, the city became known worldwide for this unenviable destruction. After the war, great efforts were taken to rebuild the city. Take the ferry from Miyajimaguchi Miyajima Island to see the World Heritage Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine. Visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Get an opportunity to see the Atomic Bomb Dome. Later, head to JR Hiroshima Station to take the bullet train back to Kyoto. Overnight in Kyoto. (B)

Day 8 Kyoto – Tokyo

After breakfast, the day is at leisure to explore the city or indulge in some shopping. Later, board the Bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Tokyo. (B)

Day 9 Depart Tokyo

After breakfast at the hotel, the morning is free to explore this magnificent city and do some last minute shopping. Transfer by limousine bus to Naraita International airport for your flight back home. (B)
